Getting More Subscribers

If you decide to publish your own ezine, you probably would like to have as many subscribers as possible. Not only is it nice to know that your newsletters are being read - but there are good commercial reasons too, for getting the maximum number of opt-in subscribers possible:
  • If you want to make money by selling advertising, you most likely will be able to charge more per advert, if your subscriber numbers are high.

  • If you want to make money with affiliate programs, you most likely will sell more affiliate products (and hence earn more commissions), the more people who see your affiliate links in your newsletter.

  • If you want to make money make money with co-registrations, you will probably get more co-registrations, the more people who are processed through your ezine subscription process. (Note: Because for co-registrations, it's important how people sign-up (they must go via your subscription form), some of the techniques in this section may not be applicable).

  • If you want to make money by selling your own products, you most likely will sell more of them, if more people see your promotional material in your newsletter.
So what can you do to get more subscribers?
